Relationship Sonnet:)

You made me proud and shout out hooray:)
You never ever give up and do
Or let anything block your way,
That is why I love you.

But time can’t heal the pains that wont mend
For nothing can last forever
Like a puzzle you can’t fix in the end
Grasping hold of what you want to saver.

Memories that then slowly go
Leaving nothing but an empty space
They come, they go. We learn we love we know.
There is no coincidence

In change there is always a reason why
Whether sad, happy, even in goodbye

Dynamite Poem…

                        beginning
             unfamiliar, intrigued
questioning, interacting, befriending
      friends, laughter, letter, tears
          wailing, clinging, parting
                     lonely, quiet
                            end

ELEGY

Like a daisy in a dry desert
Slowly fading away, petal by petal
Pieces of his heart taken, little by little
His heart dry and broken

The one with hidden smiles
Like a clown
Hiding his pain and sorrow
Giving all and receiving none

Singing his pain at the top of his lungs
Not afraid of his pride and pain
Serving others upon his will
A servant of God

 Like rain in a desert
A miracle always to be remember
Like Halley’s Comet
Always coming and going

ODE TO ALIBA

Ode to Aliba
For his talented Michael Jackson dancing
His pearly white teeth shining very brightly
A Red promise ring glimmering in the air

Ode to Aliba
Singing at the top of his lungs
Swinging on the swings as if his life depended on it
His laugh echoing

Ode to the king of the jungle
A planet in a sea of stars
A yellow dot on a blue sheet of paper
A straw of grass in a desert

Ode to my baby
Putting a smile on my face
Laughing the days away
My own baby

India Beulah Home

BALLAD POEM:)
            -India Beulah Home-

New strangers arrived and greeted me.
With smiles and big wide hugs
We sang, and talked and played around
Morning, Noon, and Dusk

Everyday we joked around
The closer we became
We hugged, we kissed, we danced around
Hand in hand we did

Then it was time for them to go
It was time for our friends to leave
We cried, we wept, and hung on close
But it was time to go

But I still remember their smiles and hugs
I cherish the time we had
Not to be sad because their gone
But to be happy that they came

A Long Ago Friend

It was you
Who always led me a hand
Like a wall that’s always there for me
And to be confident
To believe in myself

It was you
Always by my side
Doubling up with laughter. Forever carefree
Putting a smile on my face

It was you
Who made me feel welcome
You who made me realize
That I was special

But it was you
Who made me sad
Who made me not want to leave

A 10-year old teddy bear
A friend that is now so long ago
So long that only memories last
And even those are slowly fading away

But still it is you
You who are my friend
My friend that I will cherish and remember.
