ELEGY

Like a daisy in a dry desert
Slowly fading away, petal by petal
Pieces of his heart taken, little by little
His heart dry and broken

The one with hidden smiles
Like a clown
Hiding his pain and sorrow
Giving all and receiving none

Singing his pain at the top of his lungs
Not afraid of his pride and pain
Serving others upon his will
A servant of God

 Like rain in a desert
A miracle always to be remember
Like Halley’s Comet
Always coming and going
