Reflection 11/22/10
Today we did a "Spiritual" test.
And for me the results were...Mercy, Prophecy, and Shepherding.
I sort of think that this doesnt fit me..! >.<
Because I cant prophesize and I'm not that merciful.
I think I'm not that merciful because sometimes...I hit people...:)
But in a friendly way~
Also I don't speak with conviction in order to bring change in other's lives...;;
So overall, i dont really think that the results that i got match that well with me.

Reflection 11/17/10
Today in class for most of the time we discussed about out test results on our tests. And then Ms. Gunther talked about the 3 different types of learners. Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic. I learned that since i am a kinesthetic learner that i learn best when i am active. And so in class it would be good if i just move something in my hands or feet because that would help me.
And then in the last 20 minutes of class we finished out job packet thing where we took a test and the results would show what types of jobs would fit us the most.
To tell the truth i was a bit suprised. This was because in the beginning i was happy because i got a veterinarian which was one of my dream jobs and i also got pediatrician. But then i also got things like truck driver and foot doctor....and so i was shocked.
And so Cindy and I made a 5 year plan! Since Cindy got salesman for cosmetics and toiletries, for a joke we decided that when we grew up she would work at Homeplus and sell toilet paper while i would drive a big truck and deliver the toilet to Homeplus:)

Reflection 11/15/10
We took two tests today. One was a personality test. This showed what my personality was like and underneath this test there were some lists of jobs that would fit out personality. For me there where things a lot of jobs that had to do with engineering and science which was a shock to me because I’m not good that both of those subjects. Also we did a test that shows our strengths/likes on subjects to figure out what would be a good job for us. In the beginning where we had to write down jobs that we wanted to do. And so I wrote pediatrician, veterinarian, and lawyer. The cool thing was that after I took the test the result I got was veterinarian and so I was really happy!~
Reflection 11/11/10
Today we cut out a bunch of words that basically have short simple phrases on then like “responsibility” or “earning money” and things like that. We then had to put these things in order from what we thought was the most important to us to the least important. For me I had things like “responsibility, good grades, happiness” at the top of the list and at the bottom I had phrases like “status” and “earning money”.
But I think that this was a good exercise because it showed me what my priorities were right now.

11/10/10 Reflection
- God says we all we have talents. Define talent.
- What do you think are your particular talents? What do you have a good aptitude for?
Im still not sure what talents I have. From the skills list there are things that fit me but there not a special talent or skill. There just personality traits of me like helping others or listening. I do like to learn about science especially chemistry and physics right now. And I also like to do crosscountry because its fun. I think that I would enjoy sciencet and like to learn more about it. I get straight A's in it and all but im not sure how it relates to good aptitude because its not a born talent or characteristic.
Overall, I think that I still need time to think about what I enjoy and what im good at and think about what a good career would be for me.

How To Draw a Stick Person:)
-How to draw a stick person-
Are you just one of those people that have what so ever no artistic skills in art? Well...with three easy simple steps you could easily become a wiz at drawing! The first step to drawing a stick person is drawing the head. To do this just simply draw a circle. To do this you can either draw by hand or trace a circular object. Next to draw the body draw line starting from the middle bottom of the circle (face of the stick person). You can choose the length of the line depending on how long or short you want you person to be. The last step is drawing the legs and arms. For the legs just turn you person upside down and draw a Y-shape letting the body of your stick person to be the base of the Y. For the arms, draw little sideways V shapes at each side of the body.
Using there three fairly easy steps no one can ever say that your stick person is demented or bad. They'll be dying to know your secret of drawing a stick person so well:)

Example Essay....?
Essay Example
Sometimes things go right only by first going very wrong
Fail forward. That was what one of my favorite teachers told me. You have to make mistakes to improve yourself. For example it’s like when you are first born. You being to learn how to walk and talk. But when you first starts to talk and walk you are not perfect at first. You talk nonsense and stumble when you walk. But over time you start to get better at it and improve. Just like my example sometimes you have to fail forward and make mistakes first to improve, get better, and get it right. Also one example from my life was when I was in speech class. At first I was very nervous and I used to stumble a lot when I talked but the teacher encouraged me and helped me to improve. And so after a while I began to get better and talk more fluently and faster. I got more confidence. And so in the beginning I made a lot of mistakes but in the end I improved a lot. Like these two examples I think that sometimes things have to go wrong first for things to go right. And that it is always good to fail forward.

The Migrant Mother
-The Migrant Mother-
"Hurry!! RUN!" she yelled at her children. The rail road train was starting to leave and two men where chasing after them. Beads of presperation started to appear on her forehead. But she ran quickly and hopped on the open cart. "Mommy!" her two children, ages 7 and 9, shouted as they got closer to the cart. She helped the up one by one and then slumped down. The train was heading towards New York. Catherine had heard that there was good news there and some people were able to get work there. She sat down and sighed deeply. Her two kids, now heads buried deep into her shoulder, were fast asleep. They looked tired and innocent. The mother searched her pockets for any scraps of food she might of had left...but the only thing her hand grasped was thin air. Now looking around the cart she saw all the sick, terrified, hungry people there with her. And she thought, "will this depression ever end?..."

Three Little Pigs PART 2
*Wolf is standing in front of the jury getting judged on what punishment that he should get for trying to eat the three little pigs...
Wolf: Dear Honorable Judge, i stand before you today....
to tell you my side of the story of what happened
to tell you the truth...I have a deep passion for music
it makes me feel good inside and when i see someone else playing or carrying a musical instrument i want to talk to them. I want to know their opinions and thoughts on music.
And so on that lovely day I was calmly strolling to road to my dear grandmothers house when these two pigs suddenly jumped out in front of me and it was then that i noticed that they were carrying musical instruments!
But bumped past me knocking my glasses off. Now i didnt have horrible sight but without my glasses i couldnt see things that clearly.
so... i just HAD to go up to them and talk about music! but as I got closer they started to run away from me! the faster i walked the faster they ran!
until they ran off into their homes.
Then i walked to the house made of straw because he seemed like a good fellow who would listen to me. I knocked on his door and asked politely... "Little Pig Little Pig can you let me in?"
He replied in response, "Not by the hair of my chiny chin chin".
And so I was about to explain my passion for music
"I'll...."
But then my nose started to tingle and itch. And my breathing started to come out in huffs and puffs.
Well of course! This house was made out of straw! And I was allergic to hay!
As the tingling in my nose grew more intense I got the feeling that i was going to sneeze.
OF course I didnt want to sneeze on the little pigs house so I started to back up but it was too hard to stop the sneeze and so...
"ACHOOOOOO!!!!!"
The beautiful house of straws was gone in a second. I was so sorry i decided to tell the pig that i was going to rebuild the house for him but then he started to run away AGAIN!
"Wait! Little Pig!!~" i called out, but it was no use he was already to far away to hear me
What could I do?? Just leave and let this pig become homeless??
And so I started to run after him.
After a while I saw him stop another house that looked sturdy.
Thank goodness! i thought, this was because i thought that even if i sneezed the house would blow away. Boy was i wrong!
Just like last time I tried to explain who i was and why i was there but again just like last time my nose started to tingle and itch.
What?....i thought, as I looked around me squinting my eyes to see more clearly i saw that there were a ton of flowers around there.
And to tell you the truth...I am allergic to pollen and all those flowers sure didnt help my situation.
Suddenly! I started to sneeze even more worse than last time, probably because of all those flowers.
And before you could say "three little piglets" the second house was down.
Again...what could I do?? leave TWO pigs homeless?
now if i did that would be just heartless
and so i started to follow then again.
As I followed these two pigs i began to wonder if id ever get to talk with them about music but being the kind of person I am i was optimistic that we eventually would once all this confusion was all resolved.
Now as I saw the third house I heard a sweet sound of a piano. That made me even more enthusiastic!
But the bad news was...there was a whole field of grass and flowers here
the second i stepped into the yard of this house i could feel my nose starting to tingle.
I couldnt handle a lot more of this. My nose was already runny and red from sneezing so much and the pollen.
But still i held my breath and knocked on the door.
"Little Pigs Little Pigs can you let me in?" i begged! i only wanted to talk about music...was that so hard to do??
But they all yelled at me inside of that house... "Not by the hair of my chiny chin chin"!!
by that time i was sneezing too much.
but then! i got a brilliant idea!
maybe...i thought...if i go on the roof i will be far away from the pollen therefore i might not sneeze as much and not scare the pigs~
and so i got on the roof.
But not seeing the open hole in the middle of the chimney due to my bad eyes i fell right through!
as you can see honorable judge...
if i am guilty of anything it is only my deep passion of wanting to talk about music to those three little pigs. But what have i gotten in return? only a broken heart and a sore bum...

Where I'm From
Where I’m From
I am from…
Buckeye trees and cardinals in the countryside
Where is life is pleasant and peaceful
I am from cows and Salt Water Taffy
Always getting a cavity from eating too many sweets
I am from painful memories
Leaving my friends and family
Half-way around the world
I am from airplanes and moving trucks.
Going from one place to another
I am from the place where a river is near the house
And trees are everywhere
I am from the place that changed my life
Where the language was so different
The city that was so busy, moving so fast
I am from...the heart of the city
